About Jason
Jason grew up on the outskirts of a small town in North Louisiana, where piney hills meet backyard bayous surrounded by fields of cotton and corn. What sparked his lifelong dream of becoming a professional pilot is still a question only God can answer. From a young age, his parents instilled in him the values of hard work and persistence, teaching him that success came from dedication and never giving up on one's goals.
Determined to turn his dreams into reality, Jason attended a state university in North Louisiana, where he balanced his studies with a grassroots entry into aviation. He earned all his flight ratings while still in school, laying the foundation for his career. To build flight time, he instructed during the school year and took on agricultural flying operations in the summers.
Though his ultimate dream was to serve in the military, Jason wasn't initially sure how to make it happen. Undeterred, he seized an opportunity by applying for Officer Training School (OTS) in the U.S. Air Force. His perseverance paid off, leading to a distinguished 20-year career flying for the Air Force, where he honed his skills and served his country with pride.
Upon retiring from military service, Jason returned to his roots, teaching aviation on the side to mentor the next generation. Today, he works as a wide-body, international pilot for a legacy carrier, navigating global routes with the expertise of a seasoned aviator. Now settled in North Texas, where he and his wife raise four children, Jason passionately shares his love for flying with anyone who will listen, eagerly pitching it as one of the greatest jobs in the world!
